Travel Checklist: My Holiday Reads
And, of course, travel and holidays equal extra reading. I don't know what I'm more excited for the pasta, the pizza, the Meditteranean or the reading. (Yes I do, it's the reading.)
My kindle is locked, loaded and ready to jet-set go. Here are the 5 books on my holiday reading list:
1. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
This book has been on my list for so long – and what is better than crossing a book off your reading list?
This is #1 on the list and the first book I'll read. I can taste the joy of holiday reading already.
2. The Little Coffee Shop of Kabul by Deborah Rodriguez
I have high expectations of this book – fingers crossed that isn't my downfall – and have wanted to read it for a while.

Guys, dreams to come true.
3. The Sittaford Mystery by Agatha Christie
If you haven't read an Agatha Christie, you have to ask yourself "what the golly gosh have I been doing with myself?" Then promptly buy an Agatha Christie crime novel.
I love her succinct writing style, and her neat and unexpected storylines. She did crime, before crime was cool.
If she was alive today, I could totally see her with a crime podcast, as is all the rage these days.
I've read lots of her books, but not this one and it was on special on Book Bub. (Um, if you haven't got Book Bub, you NEED it.)
4. The Other Side of the Story by Marian Keyes
Because you gotsta have a girlie, you just gotsta!
And what better than an Irish larikin who also often writes about depressing themes? I know you were thinking that too.
Love me some Marian Keyes.
5. Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan
Apparently, this is HILARIOUS. (It's about to be a movie, have you seen?)
Kevin Kwan seems to not only have a killer name that's fun to say, but also a wicked sense of humour.
